December 28, 2008 a big one goes down.

A big white ash tree blew down last night and went across the driveway. I had to go out early and clear it so that we could leave for church.

It hit the little dogwood in the front lawn. The dogwood was in sort of poor condition so I hope it wasn't fatal to it. It did bloom as nice this past summer as it ever has.

A sister tree is also left leaning against two others. Its going to have to come down because its a hazard for the drive way. If it fell over on a car, it would be very bad news. My dad is coming tomorrow and we're going to see about taking it down.
