Chinese Virus Part 9

February 12, 2022 - government knows that the majority of the people in Canada are behind this movement. They know all of what was told about the virus and the government's "protections" were lies. So if the government comes down too hard on the protest, they are going to look like tyrants to the people (they are tyrants). So they are backed into a corner. If they come down on the protesters who have huge popular supprt, they look bad, if they roll over and remove the mandates, they have to admit that they've been wrong. So the government is truly between a rock and hard spot, but it's one of their own making. And they are making it worse every day by being so steadfastly prideful.

April 18, 2022 - A federal judge struck down the CDCs mask mandate for federal transportation. It should have happened two years ago, but that's water over the dam. I'm glad it's through. I heard a radio news item that said folks were taking their masks off at the airport. I think there will be a hard time bringing it back at this point, but we'll see.

While I was flying to Denver and back two weeks ago, I didn't cover my nose, and I did see a very few folks who simply didn't wear a mask at the airport. I had one woman at the United passenger lounge tell me to pull my mask up, although I didn't hear her. Connie told me that after we left the place. Probably just as well, as it prevented me from saying something snarly to her. This says something about the US medical profession, for sure.

For the most part, this virus thing is dead. Although there are people who will continue to wear masks and be nervous about the virus, perhaps for the rest of their lives. I also saw a news article today saying that health officials are now saying that the "vaccines" were never intended to keep you from getting the virus or spreading it, just to lower your risk of death. That wasn't the message in 2020 and 2021, that is for sure.

May 7, 2022 - My wife tells me that the Family Values coupon flyer finally looks like it did before COVID. So I think we are finally over COVID as a pandemic, at least here in Mansfield, OH. I know there are other places in the world where they aren't over it at all. I'm glad I don't live there.

September 19, 2022 - Over the weekend, the president said in an interview that the COVID pandemic is over. Most people have known this for months. Partly because we simply got tired of all of the goofy stuff that we pretty much knew didn't help. Also, because most people have now had COVID and did not die. And we all know people who've had COVID and did not die, and weren't really that sick either.

I was on a trip to Kentucky last week, volunteering to help with disaster relief. The organization had us do a COVID test before we arrived to prove that we didn't have COVID (at least when we took the test). Everyone could see the silliness in this, as they weren't testing everyday, and anyone could have come down with COVID and infected everyone else. But of course no one did. In addition, no one was wearing a mask. No one was social distancing. No one gave COVID a second thought.

Life has for all intents and purposes, gotten back to normal. There are still a few people doing goofy things, but by and large, the general population has put COVID behind them.

Life is just as it was prior to March of 2020 from a health standpoint. There are plenty of economic issues going on which are in part a result of the actions taken during the pandemic (not a result of the pandemic, but of the actions the government forced on people).

Anyway, I may very well not need to update this log anymore.

October 14, 2022 - Well, an update is needed. The mortality numbers collected by insurance companies are pretty conclusively showing that for young people (12-35 years old) the vaccines were more lethal than the virus itself. They saw a 20% increase in mortality for this age range in a very short time period in 2021. The real crime is that the CDC is still promoting the vaccines for everyone, in spite of the fact that it address the original COVID and Omicron only, which has long since mutated away.

In addition, we just saw an admission by Pfizer that they never tested the vaccine's ability to block transmission of the virus. They to this day, don't know if the vaccine blocks the transmission of the virus or not. Which really makes any vaccine mandates seem absurd (as if they weren't already).

October 22, 2022 - Finally, the assisted living place where my dad lives has lifted their mask mandate and the requirement to sign in and take your temperature in order to visit anyone. Interesting. I wonder what caused this change today, rather than six months ago? I'm happy they finally are moving on.

Also saw a report yesterday of a study that strongly indicates that the virus was man made. Finally the real science is being reported. How we know that almost certainly it was man made... Fauci and his crowd vehemently denied that it was man made. Me thinks he doth protest too much.

November 4, 2022 - We're in Riverside hospital in Columbus today. Masks are required. I wonder why, really. What's the real reason? They don't really think they keep people from getting a virus do they? Never required them during flu season before. So why now? In fact the Chinese virus is pretty well subsided, at least as a serious illness. So why are they requiring masks?
