The State of Ohio Marion County. S.S. Before me S.A. Griswold, a justice of the peace in and for the county aforesaid personally came the within named Charles Imer and Thelka his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the written convayance(sic) to be thier voluntary act and deed, and the said Thelka being at the same time examined by me seperate and apart from her said husband, and the contents of said instrument made known to her by me she then declared that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith. this 9th day of Jaunuary AD 1851 S.A. Griswold J.P
Know all men by these presents that one Charles Imer Thelka wife of said Charles Imer of the County of Marion Ohio in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars in hand paid by Mathias Leonhart of the same place, have bargained and sold, and do hereby grant bargain sell and convay(sic), unto the said Mathias Leonhart his heirs and assigns forever, the following premisses, situated in the county of Marion in the state of Ohio and bounded and described as follows, five acres of the southeast part of the west half of the southeast quarter of section Twentysix, in township six south of Range fifteen, comencing on the southeast corner of land now owned by Nicolaus Gaberdict thence North fourty rods, thence East twenty rods thence south fourty rods thence West twenty rods to the place of beginning To have and to hold said premises, with the appurtenances, unto the said Mathias Leonhart his heirs and assigns forever. and the said Charles Imer for himself and heirs, doth hereby covenant with said Mathias Leonhart his heirs and assigns, that he is lawfully sezed(?sic) of the premisses aforesaid that the same are free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever, and that he will forever warrant and defent(sic) the same against the lawfull claims of all persons whomsoever. In testimony whereof the said Charles Imer and Thelka his wife have hereunto set their hand and seal this 3th day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty.
