Worked at Columbus Dispatch. "He was eight years younger than my mother, Alice Boyd, and they both lived well into their later years and he died three or four years before she did. Of course she was all busted up about it because he was her favorite brother. We used to go down and visit him a lot and Wilson was married three times. His wives in the first two cases died or he divorced them. His first wife was named Aunt Ida. He was for many years a compositer or proofreader for the Columbus Dispatch. I visited him there once and watched him correct plates of type. During the time he was with the Dispatch, he, his daughter Mabel, and his son Rollo (Roland) had a guitar trio and played around for groups in the Columbus area. He was a tall spare man."-LAB

Wilson worked for the Columbus Dispatch for 46 years, he retired in 1951. "He was a gentleman's gentleman and Alice Boyd Brown liked to tell the story of how when Wilson was a young boy he thought that women didn't have legs because he never saw them due to the long skirts they use to wear."-M. Wilson Grant BOYD and Nora Estella STIFFLER were married on Oct 6, 1892. Nora Estella STIFFLER (daughter of Christian STIFFLER and Sarah Jane HATCHER) was born on Dec 8, 1872. She died in 1906.
