Uncle Cary's Hand Saws

There are two very nice hand saws in the tool chest, a cross cut and a rip saw.

Here you can see "C C B" stamped on the handle. (Charles Cary Boyd)

Here, "CCB" and "C.A. Wasser" & "1884" - Charles Wasser was Cary's grandfather.
This is the D-8 saw. Judging by the medalian here it was manufactured 1878-1888. See this "Disstonian Institute" page
It can't be read here, but the lable on the saw says:

For Beauty Finish Utility This Saw Cannont be Excelled Henry Disston
