Fireplace Mantel No. 2
Cut
down a white ash tree in August 2019, and decided to use the wood for a fireplace mantle.

Here
it is ready to hang. September 18, 2020, just over a year since
I cut down the tree. Notice the angle hanger brackets. Also, I inculed the can of varnish because it was a project too. I got it from my dad's house and it have about an inch and a half of solids in the bottom to mix up. Took about a half hour with a power mixer.
